A tariff assessment correction is a post-transaction formal adjustment of previously calculated, tariff-based charges for transport or logistics services. It corrects erroneous or changed tariff applications (e.g., wrong rates, incorrect surcharges, or incorrect weight/route parameters) and serves to re-bill or amend the amounts stated in an invoice or assessment.
