A road freight contract is a transport contract in which the carrier undertakes, for a fee, to transport goods from the shipper to the destination by road, using a road vehicle or equivalent means. It specifies duties such as loading/unloading, transportation, delivery and collection locations, as well as liability and liability limits as defined by applicable law.
