Weight-In-Motion Systems
Quelle: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Weigh-in-motion
Weight-In-Motion (WIM) systems are automatic weighing systems that measure the weight of road vehicles in motion. They capture axle loads, gross vehicle weight and vehicle classification data without requiring a stop. Sensors embedded in the pavement and data acquisition units record weight, speed and classification information in real time for traffic monitoring, enforcement and infrastructure management.
