Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Tanker Safety Protocols are standardized procedures, guidelines, and controls designed to ensure the safe maritime transport of liquefied petroleum gases aboard tanker vessels. They include requirements for vessel design and equipment, loading and unloading operations, maintenance, crew training, and emergency response measures to mitigate risks such as leaks, fires, or explosions and to prevent environmental harm.
