Shipment registration control

Shipment registration control is a logistics process step in which all relevant data of a shipment (e.g. dimensions, weight, quantity, recipient address) are recorded during system entry and checked against order or shipping document specifications. The purpose is to ensure data accuracy for downstream processes such as transport planning, billing, and tracking.
