Hazardous Cargo Monitoring Networks refer to interconnected systems and technologies—often leveraging sensors, IoT devices, communication infrastructures, and data analytics—designed to continuously track, monitor, and manage the condition, location, and safety parameters (e.g. temperature, pressure, leaks, impact) of hazardous materials during multimodal transportation, in order to ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and effective incident response.
