Liability borne by the carrier, warehouse operator, or other contractually responsible party for damages caused by the ingress, leakage, or exposure to fresh water during transport, storage, or handling of goods. Liability is determined by contractual terms, Incoterms, and insurance; damages caused by saltwater, humidity, or condensation are excluded unless explicitly covered.
