Liability of the carrier or forwarder for damage to cargo caused by the cargo rolling or shifting during transport. Generally, the carrier is liable for damage resulting from inadequate securing, improper stowage, or insufficient packaging, up to the statutory or contractually agreed limits (e.g., under the CMR Convention), unless exclusions apply.
