The Importer Self-Assessment (ISA) Program is a voluntary compliance initiative administered by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Participating importers who demonstrate a high level of adherence to customs laws—through internal controls and audits of import transactions—receive enhanced benefits such as reduced examinations and expedited cargo release.
