Predictive Dispatching is the use of predictive analytics and real-time data to assign and route orders to carrier assets (trucks, drivers, or vehicles) in advance in order to optimize service levels, reduce empty miles, and improve on-time delivery by anticipating future demand, available capacity, traffic, and constraints.
