Carriage Paid To (CPT)

Under CPT the seller delivers the goods by handing them over to the carrier or another person nominated by the seller at an agreed place and pays the freight to the named destination. Risk transfers to the buyer once the goods have been handed over to the first carrier; the buyer bears all subsequent costs and risks.
