Pharmaceutical supply chain integrity refers to the assurance that pharmaceutical products are consistently maintained in their intended condition—preserving quality, safety, efficacy, and authenticity—throughout the entire supply chain, from manufacturing and storage to transportation and distribution, by preventing contamination, tampering, theft, counterfeiting, and diversion, and by implementing traceability systems and compliance with regulatory standards.
