ULD Tare Weight

Weight of packaging, a container, or vehicle excluding any cargo, load, or contents.

The weight of packaging, pallets, or containers that is subtracted from gross weight to obtain the net weight.

Net weight is the weight of goods excluding packaging materials, loading aids (e.g., pallets), and any other ancillary items.
