Peak Simulation is the use of discrete-event or system-dynamics modeling to reproduce the behavior of a logistics or supply chain network under peak demand or peak capacity conditions, in order to analyze performance, bottlenecks, staffing, routing, inventory, and transportation requirements, and to test mitigation strategies.
