Near-Zero Reefer Cargo Emissions Corridors are designated transport routes for refrigerated cargo in which greenhouse gas emissions from refrigeration units are reduced to virtually zero through the use of low-carbon energy sources or electric cooling systems. This includes the integration of renewable electricity, alternative fuels, and high-efficiency cooling technologies across the entire supply chain.
