Two-tier distribution modeling refers to the planning and analysis of a logistics system in which products are first delivered from the manufacturer to regional or central distribution centers (first tier) and then from these centers to end customers or retail locations (second tier). The objective is to optimize transportation routes, inventory levels and service performance across both distribution levels.
