Additional Transport Equipment Management is the systematic administration of non-core transportation equipment—such as pallets, containers, crates, dunnage and straps—including their acquisition, tracking, maintenance, allocation and eventual disposal, in order to optimize equipment utilization, reduce costs and support efficient cargo movement within the supply chain.
