Urban Service Layers refer to the stacked physical, digital, and organizational services within an urban area in logistics and transport. This includes infrastructure segments (roads, bike lanes, pedestrian zones), decentralized distribution nodes (hubs, micro-hubs, lockers) and digital platforms for routing, tracking and coordination. The aim is to optimize goods movement, enhance accessibility and reduce congestion and environmental impacts.
