Second-Tier Supplier Management refers to the systematic coordination and oversight of second-tier suppliers that are indirectly involved in a company's supply chain. These suppliers provide materials, components, or services to first-tier (Tier 1) suppliers and are managed with respect to quality, risk mitigation, delivery performance, and compliance.
