Joint Infrastructure Investment in Freight Corridors refers to the coordinated allocation of financial, technical and managerial resources by two or more stakeholders (e.g. governments, private sector firms, multilateral institutions) aimed at developing, upgrading or expanding transport infrastructure (roads, rails, ports, terminals) along designated freight corridors to enhance connectivity, capacity, efficiency and interoperability of logistics networks.
