Institute War Clauses

Standardized marine insurance clauses issued by the Institute (Institute of London Underwriters) that modify or exclude coverage for loss or damage caused by war-related perils, including hostilities, invasion, piracy, revolution, insurrection, confiscation by authorities, and other war-related risks; these clauses may be attached to hull, cargo, or other marine policies to define the scope of war risk coverage and exclusions.
