Incoterms examination period

The term denotes the contractually agreed period after delivery within which the purchaser must examine the goods and, under the Incoterms rules, notify the seller of any defects or non-conformities. Failure to timely raise issues can affect or bar warranty or recourse rights, subject to the selected Incoterms and applicable law.
