General Inspection Cold Chain Cargo is a standardized check of temperature-sensitive goods throughout the cold chain. Its objective is to verify compliance with specified temperature ranges and relevant regulatory and contractual requirements. The process includes examination of packaging, temperature data loggers, seals, transport and storage conditions, and accompanying documentation, without opening the transport system.
