Joint Cargo Liability Agreements are contractual arrangements between two or more carriers or logistics providers involved in the transportation of goods, under which they mutually accept liability for loss of or damage to cargo occurring during carriage. Such agreements define the apportionment of liability, limitation amounts, notification requirements and claims handling procedures.
