FCA (Free Carrier) is an Incoterms rule under which the seller delivers the goods, cleared for export, to the carrier nominated by the buyer at a named place. Risk passes to the buyer when the goods are delivered to the carrier. The seller is responsible for export formalities; the buyer bears all costs and risks of carriage, insurance (if arranged), and subsequent transport from the named place onwards.
