FCA Dangerous Goods Documents

FCA means that the seller delivers the goods to the carrier or another person designated by the buyer at the named place (such as the seller’s premises or another agreed location) and clears the goods for export; risk transfers to the buyer at the time of delivery to the carrier. For dangerous goods, FCA documents typically include all required paperwork to comply with danger goods regulations for the transport (e.g., dangerous goods declaration, safety data sheets, transport documents, proper labeling and packaging) and may shift enforcement and responsibility for import and regulatory compliance to the buyer after delivery.
