FAS practical error

A FAS practical error is a misapplication or incorrect handling in practice of the Incoterm FAS (Free Alongside Ship). It includes improper allocation of costs and risks, unclear or missing handover of the place of delivery, failure to handle export or customs clearance properly, or neglect of the contractually agreed delivery term, leading to additional costs, delays, or liability risks.
