EXW (Ex Works) requires the seller to make the goods available at their premises (or another named place). The seller has minimal obligations regarding transport and export clearance. Document provision refers to the seller supplying any documents necessary for the buyer to collect or take delivery of the goods, if agreed; otherwise, such documents are not a mandatory obligation of the seller under EXW. The buyer bears all costs and risks from the point the goods are made available.
