The Korea Intermodal Freight Corridor Expansion is a national logistics initiative aimed at enhancing the capacity and connectivity of South Korea’s freight transport system by integrating multiple transport modes—such as rail, road, maritime, and inland waterways—through the development and upgrading of intermodal terminals, dedicated freight corridors and supporting infrastructure to improve efficiency, reduce transit times and lower logistics costs.
