E-Handling in port logistics refers to the use of digital systems, automated processes and electronic interfaces to control, monitor and execute all cargo handling and transport operations within a port. This includes electronic data interchange (EDI), the Internet of Things (IoT), automated cranes, automated guided vehicles (AGVs), port community systems (PCS) and digital platforms to enhance efficiency, safety and transparency.
