DPU (Delivered at Place Unloaded) is an Incoterms rule under which the seller delivers and unloads the goods at the named place of destination. The seller bears all costs and risks up to and including unloading at that place, while the buyer assumes all risks and costs from the point of unloading onward, including any import clearance and further transport. The term 'unloading release' refers to the formal clearance or authorization to proceed with unloading at the named place, signaling that the goods have been physically discharged and are ready for handover or further processing.
