Natural Refrigerant Reefer Infrastructure Development

The process of planning, constructing and implementing infrastructure and system components for refrigerated freight transport and storage (e.g. refrigerated containers, cold storage facilities, handling equipment) using natural refrigerants (e.g. ammonia, CO₂, hydrocarbons). It aims to establish an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly cold-chain infrastructure with low global warming potential.
