DAP main carriage refers to Delivered at Place (DAP). The seller bears all costs and risks to deliver the goods, ready for unloading, at the named destination place, including the main carriage (the primary international transport leg). Unloading at destination and import clearance are the buyer's responsibilities; export formalities are the seller's responsibility.
