CPT (Carriage Paid To)

Quelle: https://iccwbo.org/resources-for-business/incoterms-rules/incoterms-2020/
CPT is an Incoterms rule (Carriage Paid To). The seller delivers the goods by handing them over to the carrier named by the seller and pays for the transportation to the named destination. Risk passes to the buyer when the goods are handed over to the first carrier. The seller must clear export formalities; the buyer bears costs and risks from the point of handover to the carrier and is responsible for import clearance and related duties at the destination, unless otherwise agreed. Insurance is not included by default in CPT unless explicitly agreed.
