CIP multimodal risks

Risks that arise in a multimodal transport under a CIP arrangement or are insured under CIP, including hazards, damage or loss occurring across the multi- carrier transport chain; the risk transfer point, as provided by CIP, occurs at the time the goods are handed over to the first carrier, with the seller arranging carriage and insurance to the named destination.
