Une flotte de pêche commerciale en eau douce anime aujourd'hui Port Stanley (CA PST), le plus grand port de la rive nord du lac Érié, à l'embouchure de Kettle Creek. Sous le pont levant King George VI de 1939, le site dispose d'un petit bassin de radoub et de capacités de réparation modérées, avec une profondeur d'accès d'environ 4,9 m. Aucune ligne conteneurisée ni service international régulier n'y est confirmé : l'intérêt commercial se limite à la pêche et à quelques trafics de vrac. Pour le fret en vrac ou industriel sur la rive canadienne du lac Érié, le port en eau profonde de Nanticoke constitue l'alternative.
