Sur l'île Campbell, le long de la côte centrale de la Colombie-Britannique, Bella Bella – ou Wáglísla – est la plus grande communauté heiltsuk (Haíɫzaqv). Un terminal de BC Ferries à McLoughlin Bay la relie au réseau de traversiers côtiers, aux côtés d'une usine de transformation du poisson heiltsuk, d'une écloserie de saumon et d'un aéroport régional. L'approvisionnement de cette communauté isolée passe surtout par les traversiers et les barges côtières, son activité propre étant centrée sur la pêche et les besoins locaux plutôt que sur le conteneur. Bella Bella ne traite pas de trafic de ligne international. Pour ce type de fret, Prince Rupert au nord ou Port Hardy sur l'île de Vancouver sont les solutions pratiques.
