Zeit Bay Terminal, operated by Suez Oil Company (SUCO), is Egypt's principal crude oil export gateway at the southern entrance to the Gulf of Suez, approximately 40 nautical miles NNW of Hurghada. The facility comprises a single buoy mooring (SBM) at 27°50.0'N 033°36.2'E, six storage tanks and a small LPG berth. Crude oil operations accommodate vessels up to 250,000 DWT, 344 m LOA and 18.0 m draft. The field is operated by ZEITCO, a SUCO joint venture. In the first half of 2026 Egypt's crude output reached its highest level in nearly two years; H1 2026 petroleum exports topped 2.3 million tonnes worth USD 2.3 billion, with further growth projected for H2.
