# Zeit Bay Lpg Terminal

**Country:** Egypt
**Water Body:** Gulf of Suez; Red Sea; Indian Ocean
**Harbor Size:** Very Small
**Harbor Type:** Open Roadstead
**GPS:** 27.8000, 33.5667

Operated by the Suez Oil Company (SUCO), the Zeit Bay terminal exists purely to ship crude oil and LPG from the region's offshore fields at the southern entrance of the Gulf of Suez. Its facilities amount to a single buoy mooring (SBM) for crude on the Gulf side and a shore-linked LPG jetty on the Zeit Bay side, about 40 nautical miles north-north-west of Hurghada. There are no container, breakbulk or general-cargo operations and no commercial customs gateway – this is an energy export point, not a multipurpose port. Tankers and gas carriers call here on dedicated berths tied to oilfield logistics rather than to merchant trade. Forwarders with containers or general cargo route through Sokhna (Ain Sokhna) or Adabiya/Suez further north in the gulf.
