Fruit and deep-frozen produce, paper and cellulose, timber, steel, drinks and cars define the breakbulk-led cargo mix at Vlissingen, the seaward port of the cross-border North Sea Port group in Dutch Zeeland. The group, which spans Vlissingen, Terneuzen and Ghent, handled around 66.3 million tonnes of seaborne cargo in 2024 (up 0.7%), with containers a minor line at roughly 240,000 TEU group-wide.
