Mondi's Dynäs mill defines this riverside berth on the Ångermanälven, just north of Kramfors in Västernorrland. One of the world's leading producers of sack kraft and specialty kraft paper, the plant drives Väja's traffic, which is dominated by forest products — kraft paper and pulp — together with inbound raw materials and supplies. The shallow river channel, around 3.4 metres, restricts calls to smaller coasters, even though the quay itself offers roughly 7.9 metres alongside. The Långsele–Härnösand railway runs beside the site and links it, with Sweden's road network, to the interior. From the Gulf of Bothnia the berth connects onward to the Baltic and the North Atlantic. Larger parcels or container moves are better routed via Härnösand, Sundsvall or Örnsköldsvik.
