At roughly 98 percent general cargo, with only a sliver of tanker calls, Tsingeli (GR TSI) is an industrial freight quay on the Pagasetic Gulf in Thessaly. Its two berths of about 200 and 190 metres, dredged to some 10 to 10.5 metres, are backed by a fuel depot of seven storage tanks. The port mainly serves regional industry and agriculture rather than running scheduled container lines. Its depths can take mid-sized freighters, but it lacks dedicated container-terminal infrastructure. Road and rail link it to the Thessalian hinterland toward Volos and Larissa. For boxed or larger flows, nearby Volos — Greece's third-busiest cargo port — is the natural fallback, with Piraeus or Thessaloniki for pure container traffic.
