Around 10°04'N 101°26'E in the Gulf of Thailand, Tantawan Marine Terminal (TH TTE) is an offshore loading point rather than a conventional port. It belongs to the B8/32 oil-and-gas field, onstream since 1997, where crude was loaded onto tankers via a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel while gas went ashore by pipeline. The terminal is not open to containers, break-bulk or third-party customs clearance. Its FPSO, the Tantawan Explorer, was reportedly retired around 2023, further reducing the site's relevance. Shippers with commercial cargo for Thailand use Laem Chabang, Sriracha or Map Ta Phut.
