PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara runs Tanjung Benete (ID BEN) as the dedicated export gateway for its Batu Hijau copper-gold operation in southern Sumbawa. Copper concentrate is slurry-pumped roughly 17.6 km from the mine to Benete Bay, where it is dewatered, held in around 80,000 t of storage and loaded onto bulk carriers at 900-1,000 t/h. Forwarders moving containers or project cargo to West Nusa Tenggara normally route via Lembar or, for mainline boxes, Tanjung Priok in Jakarta.
