A roofless fish-oil tank, a few derelict jetties and otherwise wild ground make up Storsteilene, the largest of the Steilene islets in the inner Oslofjord off Nesodden. Secured by the state as a public recreation area, the island sits entirely outside commercial shipping and offers no cargo, container or customs handling. For forwarders its freight relevance is effectively nil. Consignments for the Oslo region are handled at the Port of Oslo, with Drammen taking larger general and bulk volumes.
