# Port Romblon (PH ROM)

**UN/LOCODE:** PH ROM
**Country:** Philippines
**Water Body:** Philippine inland seas; North Pacific Ocean
**Harbor Size:** Very Small
**Harbor Type:** Coastal (Natural)
**GPS:** 12.5833, 122.2667

One of the best landlocked natural harbours in the Philippines, Romblon Bay shelters inter-island vessels in rough weather and anchors the local marble trade. Marble blocks and finished stone — the island's signature product — are shipped out from here, while scheduled RoRo ferries run by operators such as Montenegro Lines and Starhorse Shipping carry passengers, vehicles and breakbulk to Sibuyan, Tablas (Odiongan) and San Agustin. The port handles no international container traffic or customs clearance of its own; export consignments are consolidated through Manila or Batangas. For forwarders, Romblon is a regional feeder built around marble and inter-island RoRo rather than deep-sea cargo.
