Four berths shape Roscoff-Bloscon on the north Brittany coast, about 55 km north-east of Brest, where ferries, general cargo and fishing share a sheltered deep-water harbour. The 240 m Môle Pierre Lemaire handles Brittany Ferries' Ro-Ro services, with year-round links to Plymouth in the UK and Cork in Ireland. Two general-cargo quays take vessels up to around 5,000 dwt — roughly 230 cargo ships a year — while a dedicated criée serves the fishing fleet. Because of heavy passenger volumes, the port deliberately handles no hazardous cargoes. Container line services are not part of its profile. For boxes and larger consignments, Brest and, further east, Saint-Malo and Le Havre are the appropriate options.
