# Point San Pablo (US SAK)

**UN/LOCODE:** US SAK

**Water Body:** North Pacific Ocean
**Harbor Size:** Very Small
**Harbor Type:** Coastal (Natural)
**GPS:** 37.9667, -122.4333

Point San Pablo is no longer a commercial cargo port. On the Richmond shoreline at the San Pablo Strait, its historic Terminal 4 wharf — which once shipped Winehaven wine and Standard Oil kerosene to Asia and imported coconut oil and Hawaiian molasses — was demolished by the city in 2024 and 2025. With a channel depth of only about 1.8 m, the headland now supports a small recreational and yacht harbour rather than freight operations. Forwarders serving San Francisco Bay route containers through Oakland, liquid and dry bulk through the Port of Richmond, and additional volumes through Stockton.
