# Okwori Terminal (NG OKW)

**UN/LOCODE:** NG OKW

**Water Body:** Gulf of Guinea; North Atlantic Ocean
**Harbor Size:** Very Small
**Harbor Type:** Open Roadstead
**GPS:** 3.8500, 6.9833

Operated today by Antan Producing, an NNPC subsidiary, the Okwori field exports crude through a floating production, storage and offloading vessel rather than any shore-side harbour — and that vessel, the FPSO Sendje Berge, is what NG OKW actually denotes. It sits on block OML 126 about 60 km south of Port Harcourt in roughly 130 m of water, processing up to 50,000 barrels a day with around 2 million barrels of storage. Crude leaves only by shuttle tanker; there is no container or breakbulk handling and no shore-side customs clearance. The FPSO, on station since 2005, is now owned by Nigeria's Century Group. Forwarders with conventional cargo should route via Onne or the Rivers Port at Port Harcourt.
