# Moudi Marine Terminal (CM MOU)

**UN/LOCODE:** CM MOU
**Country:** Cameroon
**Water Body:** Gulf of Guinea; North Atlantic Ocean
**Harbor Size:** Very Small
**Harbor Type:** Open Roadstead
**GPS:** 4.1167, 8.4833

Operated by Perenco within the Moudi concession, this marine terminal exists to load crude from the offshore Moudi field onto tankers. It sits about 50 nautical miles west of Limbe in the Gulf of Guinea, in water depths of 50 to 58 metres. Tankers are effectively the only vessels that call; there is no container, breakbulk or conventional customs handling. As a pure offshore energy installation it has no hinterland road or rail connection, with loading carried out in open water rather than at a quay. Forwarders moving general cargo or containers turn instead to Douala-Bonabéri, the deep-water box terminal at Kribi, or Limbe for regional traffic.
